• Have relevant construction industry experience and strong subject knowledge.

• Be confident delivering practical and engaging construction lessons.

• Be able to support students with different learning needs and abilities.

• Have strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Be patient, adaptable and confident building positive relationships with young people.

• Have a genuine interest in helping students develop practical skills and explore future career opportunities.

Teaching qualifications or previous teaching experience would be beneficial, although relevant industry experience may also be considered.
