This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands on professional with construction knowledge who can engage students through vocational learning and help them develop valuable skills for their future.The school supports students with social, emotional and mental health needs, so the successful Construction Teacher will need a patient, adaptable approach and the ability to build positive relationships with young people who may find mainstream education challenging.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging, practical construction lessons tailored to students'' abilities and learning needs.Teach construction techniques, building skills, tool usage and essential health and safety procedures.Develop students'' practical competence, vocational knowledge and employability skills.Maintain a safe, structured learning environment, particularly during practical workshop activities.Adapt teaching approaches to support students with SEMH needs and encourage positive behaviour.Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support students'' development.Requirements:Experience teaching or delivering construction-related training, ideally within a school, alternative provision or ..... full job details .....
