Job Title: Construction Engineer – Piping / Mechanical
Location: UK Site-Based - Middlesbrough
Duration: Contract – 12 – 18 months

Overview:
We are recruiting a Construction Engineer – Piping / Mechanical for a major onshore energy project. You will support construction execution across piping, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical plant scopes, working closely with project and engineering teams to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop construction methods and risk assessments
• Support mechanical site activities: welding, trace heating, pressure testing
• Maintain QA and safety compliance on all construction deliverables
• Interface with vendors, subcontractors, and clients
• Support handover and completions documentation

• ONC / HNC in Mechanical or Construction Engineering
• CSCS Black Managers Card or SMSTS
• Experience on large-scale construction projects in energy or heavy industry
• Strong knowledge of QA, pre-commissioning, and site methodologies
