Construction Engineer - EC&I

Job Title: Construction Engineer – EC&I
Location: Site Based - Middlesbrough
Contract: Contract – 12 – 18 months
  
We are supporting our client in the recruitment of a Construction Engineer (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) to contribute to the planning, execution, and technical oversight of a major onshore energy project.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Support project site manager with EC&I construction activities
• Develop and review method statements and risk assessments
• Oversee safe and quality-compliant installations
• Interface with vendors and subcontractors
• Conduct site surveys and progress checks
• Provide technical input into schedules and cost estimates

• ONC/C&G in engineering (minimum), 18th Edition certification
• Strong background in site-based EC&I work
• Experience with switchgear, control systems, ATEX areas, and commissioning
• CSCS Black Managers Card (preferred)
• Familiarity with QA documentation and project handovers
