The Role
As Community Engagement Lead, you''ll be the face of the organisation within the local community, building relationships with businesses, schools, community groups and supporters across North Nottinghamshire.
You''ll inspire people to get involved through fundraising, events, partnerships and volunteering, helping turn conversations into lasting community support.
No two days are the same. One day you''ll be networking with local businesses, the next you''ll be supporting a community fundraiser or developing a new engagement campaign.
What You''ll Be Doing
- Building relationships with businesses, community groups and local supporters.
- Developing new community partnerships and fundraising opportunities.
- Representing the organisation at networking events and community activities.
- Supporting fundraisers from idea through to successful delivery.
- Growing awareness within the local community.
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve engagement and fundraising targets.
- Maintaining accurate supporter records using a CRM system.
About You
You''re a people person.
You enjoy networking, starting conversations and building genuine relationships. You could come from fundraising, account management, business development, events, customer success, recruitment or another relationship-focused role.
You''ll also have:
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence speaking with businesses and community groups.
- A proactive, organised approach.
- The ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
