Are you a Commissioning Engineer or Project Commissioning Engineer looking for a technically varied role where you will take ownership of commissioning complex electrical and mechanical process plant across the UK & Ireland, while developing your skills long-term?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established specialist engineering business in a key role, working closely with Project Managers and wider engineering teams to deliver successful projects from installation through to smooth client handover.

The company supply and support equipment used across process and packaging environments, and due to continued success they are looking to add to their commissioning team to support ongoing project delivery.

In this role you will commission and fault-find electrical systems, work from wiring and schematic diagrams, support electrical installations, and collaborate with software engineers on sequences and commissioning of new equipment, including PLC input/output fault-finding.

This role would suit an electrically qualified engineer with strong electrical and mechanical understanding who wants a varied, hands-on commissioning role with genuine technical development and long-term progression.

The Role:

• Commissioning electrical & mechanical process / packaging plant and equipment
• Electrical installation work, fault-finding and troubleshooting during commissioning
• Working from wiring diagrams and schematic diagrams
• UK & Ireland travel with occasional international trips (overnight stays and some weekend work as required)

The Person:

• Strong electrical and mechanical engineering background with commissioning experience
• Electrically qualified with a full UK driving licence
• Able to fault-find electrical systems including PLC inputs/outputs
