About the Role
Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking a skilled CNC Sliding Head Setter/Operator for a client based in Aston. This full-time position offers a salary between £16.00 and £18.00 per hour, dependent on experience. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 16:45, and Friday, 07:00 to 15:00. The role involves setting and operating CNC sliding head machines to manufacture precision components to exact specifications. Key duties include reading engineering drawings, conducting in-process inspections using measuring equipment, making offsets and minor program adjustments, and maintaining a safe, organised workspace. Applicants must have proven experience in a similar setting, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC sliding head machines.
- Produce precision components to specification and quality standards.
