CNC Sliding Head Setter/Operator

Pertemps are looking for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Setter/Operator to join our client based in the heart of Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established precision engineering company, producing high-quality components for a range of industries.Pay 16.00 - 18.00 per hour, depending on experience.Working HoursMonday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:45Friday: 07:00 - 15:00 Key ResponsibilitiesSet and operate CNC sliding head machines.Produce precision components to specification and quality standards.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Carry out in-process inspections using measuring equipment.Make offsets and minor program adjustments where required.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met. RequirementsPrevious experience setting and operating CNC sliding head machines.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Experience using precision measuring equipment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A positive attitude and reliable work ethic.
