CNC Programmer

Location : GloucestershireDuration : Permanent Day ShiftSalary : £40-42,000Sector : Engineering We are hiring for our client that serves global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and high-tier suppliers supplying, complex components.We are looking for a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist who will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC Turning and Mill-Turn machines to produce precision-engineered components to exact customer specifications and quality standards.Main Skills : Set, operate, and programme CNC Turning and Mill-Turn machinery.Manufacture high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and work order specifications.Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.Carry out in-process inspections and quality checks using measuring equipment.Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately.Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.Maintain a safe and organised working environment. We are looking for : Proven experience setting, operating, and programming CNC Turning and multi-axis machines.Good understanding of tooling, fixtures, speeds and feeds, machine controls, and machining practices.Experience with FANUC, Okuma QSP-200L, ISO and/or Mazatrol programming.Knowledge of live tooling and multi-axis machining.Experience working to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment.Familiarity with CMM inspection and conventional measuring equipment.Understanding ..... full job details .....
