About The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced machinists to join one of the UK's leading award-winning manufacturers of high-quality special fasteners.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we currently have two positions available:
• CNC Programmer Setter Operator
• Sliding Head Machine Setter Operator
Key Responsibilities:
• Programming, setting and operating CNC or sliding head machines.
• Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Selecting appropriate tooling and machining methods.
• Adjusting and optimising existing programmes.
• Creating programmes for new jobs.
• Conducting self-inspection and quality checks throughout production runs.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
• Working effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative.
• Operating different machines as required by production demands.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
• Previous experience in CNC programming, setting and operating, or sliding head machine setting and operation.
• Experience using measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, calipers and gauges.
• The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings, particularly for turned and threaded components.
• A strong understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
