CNC Programmer Setter

Family-run, leading CAD/CAM tooling solutions company, established 80 years, seeks a CNC Programmer/Setter (Offline) to program and set a wide variety of tooling. Joining a long-serving team who are passionate about providing a first-class service to their customers, you will be responsible for creating high-quality offline programmes, whilst providing a personal, hands-on approach to each tool manufactured. The successful candidate must be an experienced hyperMILL (OPEN MIND) user. You should be self- motivated, able to work independently and willing to make your own decisions on how best to machine a job. Please note that other CAM software packages (such as PowerMILL) are not transferable for this role. Offered as a permanent contract, the role of CNC Programmer/Setter offers market competitive salary plus overtime opportunities and immediate start available. CNC Programmer/Setter duties include: Create high-quality offline milling programs exclusively using hyperMILL software for 3-axis and 5-axis machines Program and set a wide variety of tooling in a range of different materials such as tooling board models, aluminium moulds and tools, cast-iron patterns and coreboxes Be responsible for your own dedicated hyperMILL offline workstation (utilising the company''s newly expanded license seat) Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all tooling Develop CNC programs for machining parts based on engineering drawings and specification Interpreting project blueprints ..... full job details .....
