Position: CNC Programmer

Location: Wolverhampton
Hours: days with an early finish on a Friday

Salary: up to -21 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, permanently employed by the business

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established client who is looking to add two experienced CNC Setter Programmers to their team.

Positions Available

1 x CNC Sliding Head Setter Programmer
1 x CNC Fixed Head Setter Programmer

The Role

As a CNC Setter Programmer, you will be responsible for setting and programming CNC machinery to produce high-quality components to drawing specifications.

Your duties will include:

• CNC machine setting and programming
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Tool changes and setting offsets
• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring components meet specifications
• General machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Troubleshooting and making adjustments where required
• Working efficiently and maintaining high standards of quality

About You

We are looking for experienced CNC Setters who are confident programming their own machines and have a strong understanding of CNC machining.

You will ideally have experience with either sliding head or fixed head CNC machinery, along with:

• Strong engineering drawing interpretation skills
• Experience with tool changes and offsets
• CNC setting and programming experience
• A good understanding of machining processes
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A reliable and professional approach to work

Hours

Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
Friday: 07:00 - 14:00
