The RoleWe are recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter Operator to join a skilled manufacturing team in Kettering.Set and operate CNC milling and CNC turning machines (3, 4 and 5 axis where applicable)Work from detailed engineering drawings and CAD models to produce components to tight tolerancesPerform in-process inspections using measuring tools including micrometers, verniers, bore gauges and CMMAdjust tooling, offsets and machine parameters to ensure optimal performance and part qualityMachine free-issue parts such as castings, forgings and fabricationsSupport continuous improvement through process and tooling optimisationMaintain a clean and safe working environmentWork closely with team leaders, quality engineers and production planners to meet deadlines About YouStrong background in CNC millingAble to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience working to tight tolerances and small batch workOnline programming and ability to read G codes desirableExperience with Fanuc controls How to ApplyTo apply for the CNC Miller Setter Operator position, click Apply Now and upload your CV.
