Job Title - CNC Miller - Setter / Operator (3-5 Axis)Location - LeicesterRate of Pay - £22.98 per hour (incl. shift allowance)Shift Type - Permanent Nights (Mon-Thurs, 18:00-06:00)Work on precision-critical components where microns matter.Join a high-spec machining environment producing components for aero engines and gas turbines-where quality, consistency, and technical capability are non-negotiable.This is a role for experienced CNC professionals who take pride in setting complex parts right first time and keeping machines running at peak performance.The RoleSet and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision componentsInterpret and optimise CNC programs, tooling setups, and offsets to ensure consistent quality outputTake ownership of machine setup, datum setting, and process controlMaintain tight tolerances using a range of inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, CMM, shadow graphs)Work collaboratively to maximise machine utilisation and throughput on a structured production planSupport Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) to ensure reliability and uptimeDeliver against production targets without compromising quality standardsAbout YouEssential:Proven experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC milling machines (3-5 axis)Background in aerospace, precision engineering, or high-spec manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of CNC programming logic, offsets, tooling, and setup parametersAbility to confidently use inspection and ..... full job details .....
