Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 - 16:15 (37.5 hours)

The Role

We are recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter Operator to join a skilled manufacturing team in Kettering.

• Set and operate CNC milling and CNC turning machines (3, 4 and 5 axis where applicable)
• Work from detailed engineering drawings and CAD models to produce components to tight tolerances
• Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools including micrometers, verniers, bore gauges and CMM
• Adjust tooling, offsets and machine parameters to ensure optimal performance and part quality
• Machine free-issue parts such as castings, forgings and fabrications
• Support continuous improvement through process and tooling optimisation
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work closely with team leaders, quality engineers and production planners to meet deadlines

About You

• Strong background in CNC milling
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances and small batch work
• Online programming and ability to read G codes desirable
• Experience with Fanuc controls
