Temporary Claims HandlerLocation: Cheadle Duration: 2 Weeks Temporary Assignment Start Date: Monday Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Pay Rate: 13ph - 14.50ph dependant on experienceAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a temporary Claims Handler to join a busy and friendly team based in Cheadle for an initial 2-week assignment.This role will involve being the first point of contact for customers, taking inbound calls and gathering initial claims information before accurately directing cases to the appropriate department for further handling.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming calls from customers regarding new claimsObtain and record important claim details accuratelyGather relevant information and documentation from customersLog claims information onto internal systemsPass completed claims information to the appropriate teamProvide excellent customer service at all timesCarry out general administrative duties as requiredMaintain confidentiality and comply with company proceduresRequirementsPrevious customer service, administration, call handling or claims experience desirableExcellent communication and telephone mannerStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood IT skills and ability to use multiple systemsProfessional and empathetic approach when dealing with customersAbility to work in a fast-paced environment Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
