Civils Site Manager (Competent Person)

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Site Manager due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring health, safety, and quality compliance.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Maintain site records and ensure all works are carried out under relevant regulations.
• Act as the Competent Person on site, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on substation projects.
• Valid Competent Person for National Grid. 
• SMSTS ticket holder.
• CSCS card.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
