Provide strategic direction and leadership for the civil engineering teamOversee the delivery of infrastructure design projects, ensuring quality, profitability, and client satisfactionLead and develop key client relationships across the development and construction sectorsSupport business development, tendering, and bid writing activitiesManage resourcing, team growth, and staff development within the civil engineering disciplineContribute to board-level discussions and help shape business-wide strategyMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and innovations in sustainable infrastructureProjects and Sectors
The Director will lead a diverse range of civil infrastructure projects, including:Residential and commercial developmentsHighway and junction improvementsDrainage and SuDS schemesPublic realm and regeneration projectsContractor-led design and build schemesCandidate Requirements
Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng, MICE or equivalent)Minimum of 10 years'' experience, including recent experience at Associate or Director levelProven technical background in highways and drainage designCommercially aware, with a track record of profitable project deliveryExperience working with private developers, local authorities, architects, and multidisciplinary teamsStrong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring engineersProficient in relevant design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow)Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadershipWhat''s on Offer
