Are you a CACHE Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner looking for flexible nursery work in Eastbourne?

Academics are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to work across a range of nurseries in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. We have both part-time and full-time opportunities available, making this a great option whether you are looking for regular work or greater flexibility around your schedule.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children. You will work alongside experienced nursery teams to support children''s learning, development and wellbeing.

You may be responsible for:

• Supporting children''s learning and development through play and planned activities
• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment
• Supporting children''s personal care needs
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Following safeguarding and nursery policies
• Working as part of a supportive nursery team
• Completing observations and contributing to children''s development records

To be considered for these opportunities, you must have:

• CACHE Level 3 or equivalent Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working in a UK nursery setting
• Paediatric First Aid training
• A strong understanding of the EYFS
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for working with children
• A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, although we can support successful applicants through the DBS process where required.
