Level 3 Teaching Assistant - 1:1 SEN Support

We''re looking for a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Halifax working 1:1 with a child with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about providing tailored support and helping a child overcome barriers to learning, develop their confidence and reach their full potential. What you''ll be doing: Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a child with additional needs throughout the school day Supporting the child to access the curriculum through personalised and differentiated activities Building a positive, trusting relationship with the child and providing consistent support Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow individual support plans and strategies Supporting the child''s social, emotional and behavioural development Encouraging independence, confidence and positive engagement in learning Helping the child develop their communication, social and learning skills Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the class teacher and wider support team Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where the child can thrive What we''re looking for: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a 1:1 capacity A patient, calm and compassionate approach The ability to build strong and positive relationships with children Good understanding of how to support ..... full job details .....
