You''ll build relationships, keep the pipeline full, and work alongside the bid team to turn opportunities into contracts.Assistant-level applicants will be considered, and full training will be provided.What you''ll doIdentify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clientsManage a pipeline of opportunities across your designated sectorsBuild relationships with key decision-makers and position the company as a preferred partnerResearch the market to spot trends, target clients and untapped segmentsPrepare and submit Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and keep supply chain information up to dateCreate persuasive presentations that put across the company''s valueWork with the bid team on tenders, and seek feedback to improve future submissionsWhat we''re looking forStrong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport and trustPrevious business development experience (preferred, not essential at assistant level)Construction industry knowledge (highly desirable)Confident presenter, comfortable with different audiencesOrganised and adaptable, able to hit deadlines in a fast-paced environmentGood research, analytical and reporting skillsConfident with IT tools and ..... full job details .....
