Client Details Our client is a leading family-owned business in the automotive sector, based in South Yorkshire. Employing approximately 75 people, the company has invested significantly in its inventory to support the next phase of its growth journey. They boast an instantly recognisable customer portfolio spanning multiple sectors, including construction, rail, highways, vehicle rental, and many more. As part of their continued expansion, the business is looking to strengthen its sales team with the appointment of a Business Development Manager. Historically, much of their success has come through their market-leading reputation and long-standing customer relationships. However, with ambitious growth plans in place, they are now focused on increasing market share and developing a proactive sales function to drive new business opportunities. Description Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial and manufacturing sector. Journey planning efficiently in order to meet as many customers as possible face-to-face. Create telemarketing and email campaigns to win new customers. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Monitor market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
