Building Surveyor (3 month contract) Up to £28.90/hour DOE CardiffYour new company A large NHS Health Board delivering a wide range of acute and community services across multiple sites. The organisation is undergoing ongoing estate development and investment, supporting the delivery of frontline healthcare services.Your new role You will join the estate''s team on an initial 3-month contract (with a strong likelihood of extension), supporting the design, alteration and delivery of projects across the estate.Key responsibilities include:Developing design schemes from brief through to detailed stageProducing and updating technical drawings (Revit preferred)Supervising and monitoring works on site to ensure quality and compliance.Liaising with contractors, consultants and internal stakeholdersEnsuring all works meet statutory, safety and NHS standardsSupporting approvals including planning, building control and fire complianceMaintaining and updating estate drawings and asset recordsWhat you''ll need to succeed Proven background in building surveying, design or constructionExperience delivering refurbishment and capital projectsStrong understanding of building regulations and compliance standardsAbility to operate effectively in a live, operational environmentProficiency in Revit/CAD and technical documentationStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsNHS or public sector experience advantageousWhat you''ll get in return Initial 3-month contract with strong ..... full job details .....
