Pay: -100120 per day PAYE (dependent on experience)

Overview:
SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with British Sign Language (BSL) skills to join a primary school deaf provision in Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate education professionals to support deaf and hearing-impaired pupils in a fully inclusive environment, helping them access the curriculum, develop confidence, and thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for deaf and hearing-impaired pupils across primary years.
Use BSL fluently to support learning, communication, and social development.
Assist the class teacher, Teacher of the Deaf, and SENCO in delivering differentiated lessons.
Support pupils'' emotional regulation, independence, and confidence.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
Requirements:
Recognised BSL qualification (Level 2 minimum, Level 3 or above preferred).
Proven experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired children in an educational setting.
Strong behaviour management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
