Key Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and coordinate Revit models for M&E services, ensuring accurate integration with architectural, structural, and other disciplines.
Detect and resolve installation-level clashes and coordination issues using BIM tools such as Navisworks.
Work closely with designers, site engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure models reflect site conditions and buildability.
Produce and maintain coordination drawings, interface details, and installation sequencing as required.
Contribute to BIM strategy implementation by ensuring proper data exchange, model structure, and compliance with standards (e.g., BS 1192).
Support site briefings with model visuals and virtual mock-ups to enhance safety, clarity, and efficiency.
Effectively use BIM hosting and collaboration platforms to share data, track revisions, manage versions, and coordinate with external teams.
Required Experience & Skills
Demonstrated experience in installation-level coordination within M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) projects.
Strong proficiency in Revit and hands-on experience with clash detection tools such as Navisworks.
Familiarity with BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., ProjectWise, SharePoint, Aconex).
Solid understanding of BIM standards and best practices, particularly BS 1192.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify issues early and suggest practical solutions.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable
Experience in transport infrastructure or related sectors.
Exposure to MicroStation, AECOsim, or other BIM tools alongside Revit.
Previous involvement in installation sequencing and methodology planning.
