Position BIM Coordinator

We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our team and support the delivery of cutting-edge digital construction processes across a wide range of exciting projects.
Role Purpose
As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting project teams in the effective use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and tools. You will ensure information is well-structured, consistent, and compliant with project requirements, while helping drive digital excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for BIM on allocated projects.
- Support the creation, coordination, and validation of 3D models and associated data.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and company BIM protocols.
- Manage project information exchanges through Common Data Environments (CDEs).
- Work closely with design managers, project teams, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Carry out model audits, clash detection, and quality assurance checks.
- Provide training, mentoring, and technical support to colleagues and project stakeholders on BIM processes and software.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital practices within the company.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Technician in construction or a related industry.
- Proficiency in key BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Solibri (or similar).
- Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 standards.
- Knowledge of Common Data Environments (e.g., Viewpoint, BIM 360, Asite).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Relevant construction or engineering degree.
- Experience delivering BIM on large-scale projects.
- Membership of a professional body (CIOB, ICE, RIBA, or similar).
