Behaviour Mentor

to join their supportive team

immediately . This is a

full-time, long-term position

running through to the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students in managing their behaviour and engagement within the school setting

Build positive relationships with students, promoting self-esteem and resilience

Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to implement tailored behaviour strategies

Provide one-to-one and small group support, both in and out of the classroom

Act as a role model, demonstrating patience, empathy, and consistency

Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people

(in education, youth work, or similar)

A genuine interest in supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs

Ability to remain calm under pressure and use a restorative approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

(essential)

Availability to start

immediately

and commit full-time until July
