We are looking for a dedicated and resilient
Behaviour Mentor
to join a
Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in West Drayton , supporting young people who require additional guidance to engage positively in education.
The Role
Provide
1:1 and small-group mentoring
to pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social needs.
Support students in re-engaging with learning and building confidence, particularly within core subjects.
Use
de-escalation techniques and restorative practices
to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage positive attitudes and improved outcomes.
Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create tailored support plans.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with young people in a PRU, SEMH, or behavioural support setting.
Skilled in behaviour management, de-escalation, and conflict resolution.
Resilient, patient, and empathetic with a genuine passion for making a difference.
Able to act as a positive role model, encouraging respect, motivation, and responsibility.
