Job Title: Behaviour Mentor - SEMH Location: Enfield, North London Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary: 100 - 125 per day (PAYE, dependent on experience)Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting experienced and resilient Behaviour Mentors to join a dynamic Secondary SEMH School in Enfield from January 2026.This specialist setting supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, autism and a range of behaviour-related challenges. The school provides a therapeutic, structured and highly supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to help pupils rebuild confidence, regulate emotions and re-engage positively with learning.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioural support across Key Stages 3 and 4Implement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniquesSupport students in regulating emotions and managing behaviour appropriatelyWork closely with teachers, the pastoral team and the SENDCo to deliver personalised behaviour plansBuild strong, trusting relationships with students to promote resilience and self-esteemIdeal Candidates Will Have:Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour (SEMH, PRU, SEND or alternative provision experience highly desirable)Strong behaviour management skills and confidence in de-escalationA calm, empathetic and patient approachTeam Teach or similar training (highly advantageous)A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable young ..... full job details .....
