Salary: andpound;90 andndash; andpound;120 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
A supportive secondary school in Milton Keynes seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work with pupils who require additional support to manage their behaviour and engage positively with learning. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact on studentsandrsquo; progress, confidence, and future success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behaviour needs
- Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and the SENCO to create tailored support plans
- Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage resilience and motivation
- Monitor and record progress, feeding back to staff and parents where appropriate
- Support reintegration of pupils back into lessons after exclusions or incidents
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational, youth work, or mentoring capacity
- Strong behaviour management skills with a calm and patient approach
- Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils
- Resilient, adaptable, and committed to helping students succeed
- A valid and enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one
