Salary: andpound;90 andndash; andpound;120 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

A well-established secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support pupils who require additional guidance to manage their behaviour and engage positively with learning. This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference in studentsandrsquo; academic and personal development

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural challenges
• Implement and monitor behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
• Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and the SENCO to develop personalised support plans
• Support reintegration of pupils into lessons after incidents or exclusions
• Record and report on progress to staff and parents
• Build positive relationships to encourage resilience, confidence, and motivation

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people in education, mentoring, or pastoral roles
• Strong behaviour management skills with patience and empathy
• Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils
• Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
