Salary: andpound;90 andndash; andpound;120 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
A well-established secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support pupils who require additional guidance to manage their behaviour and engage positively with learning. This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference in studentsandrsquo; academic and personal development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural challenges
- Implement and monitor behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and the SENCO to develop personalised support plans
- Support reintegration of pupils into lessons after incidents or exclusions
- Record and report on progress to staff and parents
- Build positive relationships to encourage resilience, confidence, and motivation
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people in education, mentoring, or pastoral roles
- Strong behaviour management skills with patience and empathy
- Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils
- Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
