The post holder will be responsible for
promoting , delivering, and facilitating the BCG programme directed by management as part of the School-Aged Immunisation Service assisting nurses in the
clinics
or office.Key responsibilities
Assist in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the infant BCG immunisation programme.Promote and facilitate collaborative working between team and families in the delivery of the immunisation programme.Ensure the necessary requirements for storing and transporting immunisations, and the procedures for collecting and delivering vaccinations to the site.Maintain databases to ensure records are kept up to date and data is reported to GP’s as per BCG Coordinators instructionsFirst point of contact for all administrative tasksResponsible for maintaining the cold chain, ordering, and may be responsible for arranging transport of vaccinations to site.Actively and constructively contribute to team meetings.Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this positionComply with Company policies and proceduresExperience / Skills
