Lead and monitor the performance and care delivery of the nursing staff in the MINT team; provide local professional leadership.Participate in review of clinical policies and guidelines relevant to the area and support and implement changes to practice.Liaise with other organisations and professionals to promote communication and good practice; undertake audit activity and supervision of other staff in the service area/care group.Apply understanding of psychosocial interventions including psycho-education, wellness recovery action plans and discharge planning.Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for a small and defined caseload; maintain associated records.Provide effective leadership within a clinical team delivering a high-quality service within defined geographical area.Context
