The post will manage the formation of a new technology service and deliver the full scope of automation services, ensuring technical considerations meet the efficiency demands of the Trust.The post holder will work across departments and at all levels of the organisation, understanding the operational pressures of healthcare services within a secondary care NHS Trust.Main duties of the job
Manage a small team of automation developers and business analysts, identifying opportunities for automation and benefits realisation.Prioritise team deliverables and adoption of new technologies and tools, aligned with Trust objectives.Measure and track benefits realised to report to the Head of Data Systems on efficiencies made.Communicate effectively with heads of departments and services to develop a strong reputation for the automation team.Show keen interest and understanding of the latest automation technologies and the technical complexities of adoption, particularly in a healthcare setting.Lead the professional development of the team, maintaining high and consistent standards of processes and documentation.Working for our organisation
