Day-to-day of the role: Support partners and senior lawyers on a wide range of pensions and life assurance matters, including advisory, transactional, and regulatory work. Advise trustee and employer clients on day-to-day pension scheme and life assurance scheme issues, such as scheme governance, benefit structures, and compliance. Assist with the pensions aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence and drafting pensions-related documentation. Draft and review scheme documentation, member communications, and legal advice notes. Conduct legal research and stay up to date with developments in pensions law and regulatory changes. Participate in client meetings and contribute to delivering practical, client-focused solutions. Support business development activities, including preparing pitches and contributing to thought leadership.
