This role is for our market leading leveraged finance intelligence team at Covenant Review.Responsibilities
Learn the basics of the capital markets via analysis of indentures and loan agreementsProofread, edit, format, and distribute leveraged finance reports for publicationProvide day-to-day administrative assistance to senior staff, including document procurement, special research projects, running blacklines, and preparing reportsAssist analysts in drafting new issue reports and updating existing research to reflect supplemental documents or final termsAssist in amending research for new transactions and amendments to documentsConduct legal research (e.g., recent legal judgments)Maintain up-to-date website content regarding documents and outstanding securitiesProvide day-to-day administrative support to Research teams as neededAssist the sales team with creating, editing, and coordinating marketing and pitch book materials for sales meetingsAssist the data team with data entry projects as neededAssist in documentation scoring as neededProcure, file, and manage permission for confidential documentsQualifications
Superior proofreading and editing skillsStrong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projectsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalComfort with Microsoft Office SuiteProactive problem-solving and strong organizational skillsStrong research and analytical skillsNice to Have
Desire to train as a solicitorLaw degree / SQE 1 / LPC (contract negotiating experience not required)Beginner understanding of how to read complex legal documentsBenefits
