Assistant Design Manager Location: West London Sector: Data Centre Employer: General Contractor Position: Assistant Design Manager About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Design Manager to join the project team delivering a major data centre project in West London on behalf of a leading general contractor. Working closely with the Design Manager and wider project team, you will support the coordination and management of the design process from detailed design through construction and handover. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Design Manager looking to develop their career within the fast-paced and highly technical data centre sector. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure design information is coordinated, managed and delivered in line with the project programme and construction requirements. Key Responsibilities Support the Design Manager in managing the design process throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate design information between consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and the site delivery team. Assist with the review and tracking of design deliverables to ensure information is issued in accordance with the project programme. Maintain design trackers, drawing registers, document registers and other project documentation. Assist with managing technical queries, RFIs and design changes.
