You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of a Nonlinear Structural Analysis Engineer and can expect to be involved in:Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Wing Structure, to support in-service issues.Nonlinear “Virtual Test” Simulations to support Aircraft Research programmes and Early Development programmes.Use of Advanced Numerical Simulation packages like Abaqus, 3DX, Hyperworks and Nastran.Learn how to correctly identify and simulate the physics of Aircraft Structural behaviour and to develop the Engineering judgement required to understand the results of our simulations.Learn about our aircraft, their design, manufacture and in-service support.Opportunity to gain experience in other departments like Research, Design, Materials, Structures Test, Aerodynamics and Manufacturing. Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of a Nonlinear Structural Analysis Engineer!What we are looking for
