Accounts Manager

Are you an experienced Practice Accountant looking for a role where you can take ownership of a portfolio, support junior staff and build long-term client relationships? A growing accountancy practice in Braintree is looking to appoint a Accounts Manager to join their team on a part-time or full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied general practice role and wants to be involved in both client delivery and team development. Responsibilities: As an Accounts Manager, you will Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors Reviewing and preparing year-end statutory accounts Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax, Personal Tax and CIS returns Reviewing management accounts, VAT returns and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements Acting as the main point of contact for clients, providing day-to-day advice and building strong relationships Supporting and mentoring junior member of the team while assisting with workflow management Requirements: As an Accounts Manager, you will need ACA / ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience with strong practice background) Previous experience working within an accountancy practice Confident reviewing accounts and managing client relationships Benefits: As an Accounts Manager, you will get Salary of £40,000 - £50,000 Flexible working arrangements Opportunities to develop and take ownership of your career Are you looking for a role where you can help shape the growth of an accountancy ..... full job details .....
