2026 Graduate Engineer - High Voltage (Power) at BakerHicks. Our two-year Graduate Programme launches your career as a Chartered High Voltage Engineer, combining technical engineering with professional development through two learning journeys. From developing engineering solutions for complex high-security sectors to construction management, project delivery and compliance, our multi-disciplinary teams partner with leading global firms to bring visionary projects to life.What you’ll do from day one is tailored to the HV discipline, with ongoing support and a personalised on-the-job training plan to apply technical knowledge in real-world settings while developing soft skills such as communication, collaboration and leadership.What You’ll Be Doing
Producing designs, calculations, reports, and drawings for new and modified Extra High Voltage (EHV) projects ranging from 11kV to 400kV.Preparing bonding line diagrams, cable rating assessments, induced voltage analyses, short circuit force evaluations, thermo-mechanical thrust calculations, pulling tension assessments, and the development of material specification lists.Contributing to health and safety reviews and hazard identification in accordance with CDM regulations, with focus on sustainability and environmental compliance.What We’re Looking For
2:1 in a relevant engineering degree, such as Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.What We Will Offer You
