- Experience working with children with additional needs preferred.
- Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic with a proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- ELSA qualification desired.
What are your responsibilities£
- Provide one-to-one support for a child with additional needs, adapting learning activities to suit their individual requirements.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and preparing resources to support learning.
- Work with small groups when needed to reinforce learning and encourage engagement.
- Support children with social communication, learning difficulties, physical needs, and speech and language development.
- Help manage challenging behaviour with a calm, firm, and positive approach.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, staff, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Promote high standards of behaviour and a positive learning environment.
