Are you calm under pressure and naturally nurturing£ Do you instinctively know when a child needs encouragement, boundaries, or just someone who wonandrsquo;t give up on them£ Weandrsquo;re looking for a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child with ADHD and behavioural challenges in a Gosport primary school. This role is about so much more than classroom support andndash; itandrsquo;s about building trust, consistency, and helping a child feel safe, seen, and capable.

Contract: Full time andndash; September 2025 start

Salary: andpound;82.20 - andpound;100 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing consistent 1:1 support to a pupil with ADHD and behavioural needs
• Supporting the implementation of behaviour plans and personalised learning strategies
• Helping the pupil access the curriculum while managing emotional regulation and focus
• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
• Creating a safe, positive and structured learning environment

Qualifications andamp; Skills:

• Have experience supporting children with ADHD, SEMH, or behavioural needs
• Remain calm, patient, and solution-focused even in moments of dysregulation
• Use a trauma-informed and child-centred approach
• Communicate clearly and build trusting relationships with pupils and staff
• Hold relevant classroom or SEN support qualifications (desirable)
