The Mechanical Supervisor position is critical in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, resource management, and effective communication to contribute to overall project success. Requirements to be an Approved Mechanical Supervisor: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends. A valid UK Driving Licence. An in-date CSCS card. SSSTS certification. General Roles and Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager in planning projects, creating schedules, and managing budgets. Support the Project Manager in drafting RAMS for various jobs. Learn and contribute to the development of project programmes. Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to junior staff. Complete performance reviews for Apprentices. Manage and track materials, including ordering, overseeing deliveries, and ensuring their efficient use. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality. Mediate team conflicts and ensure a harmonious work environment. Escalate critical issues to the Project Manager.
