Mechanical Supervisor Rate: £30.00ph (Personal CIS) Location: Across Manchester and Yorkshire Hours: 40 hours a week (+ weekends available) Immediate Start Nelson Permanent Placements are currently working on behalf of our client who are an industry-leading Engineering Contractor. They work heavily with a portfolio of market-leading Food and Bev Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical companies. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be required to travel to sites within the Manchester, Wakefield and Halifax areas. They will offer a Van and Fuel Card. Duties: Managing MandE operatives and sub-contractors on-site. Enforcing site Health and Safety regulations Overseeing sub-contractors and driving production Communicating with Contracts Supervisor and Manager Surveying site and running quality control Resolving site issues/queries that may arise Completing site diary/daily report sheets Identifying rectification works Maintaining an accurate record of who s on-site and tasks undertaken. Mechanical Supervisor Requirements: A Valid SMSTS or SSSTS Certificate. 2-3 years experience within Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication or Pipework. A Valid UK Driving Licence.
