A generalist HR Advisor role based out of Wakefield, with hybrid working.Client DetailsA leading construction business with operations throughout the UK.DescriptionThis HR Advisor role is initially for a period of 12-18 months, based out of offices in Wakefield. Working as part of a generalist HR team, you will work alongside other advisors to support the Yorkshire and Midlands region. Key responsibilities will include:Supporting line managers with ER casework.Developing line management capability though coaching, training and development.Supporting recruitment campaigns.Working on restructuring activities.Assisting in the development of Engagement, Health and Wellbeing and Equality and Diversity related initiatives. ProfileThe HR Advisor must be/have:Member of CIPD or studying towards qualification or similar.Prior experience in a generalist HR role at a similar level with a good working knowledge of employment law, codes of practice and good working practices.Current knowledge of employment trends and developments.A willingness to attend CPD/training events.
