HR Advisor - Maternity Cover Our client a leading construction and structural steel company who operate throughout the UK and Europe, are seeking a HR Advisor on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave, based in Barnsley to join their team, for up to 15 months. This would be a fully office-based position, with occasional travel to their other sites, so access to your own vehicle would be essential. They would be offering a salary of between 35 - 45k depending on experience. What will you be doing? They are looking for a HR Advisor with extensive experience in employee relations. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to handle complex employee relations issues and drive initiatives that improve our processes and support their talented workforce. You will provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on all employee relations matters, these will vary in complexity and volume. You will manage and resolve employee relations issues in line with up-to-date employment law knowledge taking a consistent approach. You will assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. You will support in investigations and disciplinary hearings, providing advice and guidance where necessary, taking accurate minutes of meetings.
