Excellent opportunity to join our client s business based in Basildon, Essex within their Research and Development Team. Our client specialises in design, manufacture and distribution of laser cutting/engraving systems and are seeking an experienced R and D Engineer. Based from their Basildon office, you will be part of their team regarding cutting edge products and will be involved in all aspects of the design/build process for model updates, new models, custom and special builds, primarily for laser marking/cutting devices including product handling and other ancillary devises. You will be involved in all aspects of mechatronics/pneumatics/automation/software. It is essential to have a working knowledge of mechanics, electronics and proficiency with SolidWorks. Ideally with at least three years proven experience in a similar role but not necessarily lasers.
