This is a newly created position for an experienced Accountant to join a leading UK-wide professional services firm at their head office in Dorking. Due to continued growth and expansion, my client is looking for a Payroll and Finance Officer to join their busy account teams in an instrumental position. This role is based in the Dorking area of Surrey and pays £45,000. To be considered for this position you will have a wide range of generalist accounts skills and have the confidence and experience to manage weekly and monthly tasks independently. As an experienced Accountant, you will ideally have experience in the following key areas: Accounts: Monthly supplier payment runs, month end reporting, management accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, weekly bank reconciliation, and credit control Payroll: Monthly payroll, sales commission calculations, overtime and on-call calculations, P45 and P46 as required, preparation of P11D s and P60 s, exporting salary BACS payments, and calculating Class 1A National Insurance contributions Working alongside the Finance Director you will receive training and support where needed, and be in a position to help grow the company and grown this position. My client is in the Dorking area of Surrey and is offering a salary of up to £45,000. This role will be office-based 5 days per week for the probation period with some hybrid flexibility afterwards.
