The students who attend this provision may struggle with behaviour, emotional regulation, engagement or social challenges.The RoleYou will work closely with pupils who require additional support to manage their behaviour and engage positively with school life.Your responsibilities will include:Providing 1:1 and small-group mentoring and supportBuilding positive, trusting relationships with pupilsSupporting students to regulate their emotions and manage challenging situationsHelping pupils understand and make positive changes to their behaviourEncouraging engagement with learning and improving attendanceSupporting pupils who may be at risk of disengaging from educationWorking alongside teachers, pastoral staff and the wider school teamHelping pupils develop confidence, resilience and independenceDe-escalating challenging situations in a calm and professional mannerPromoting positive behaviour and maintaining clear boundariesAbout YouThe successful candidate will be:Patient, calm and resilientConfident managing challenging behaviourAble to build strong relationships with young peopleConsistent and confident in ..... full job details .....
