Youth Worker - Maidenhead An AMAZING specialist school are looking for a Youth Worker to join them on a full time basis, to start ASAP.About the SchoolA specialist school supporting children and young people aged 4-16 years.Their pupils have a range of additional and co-existing needs, including: Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsAutism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)Behavioural and emotional needsVulnerability and complex individual circumstancesWe are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Youth Worker to join our dedicated team.As a Youth Worker, you will:Support children and young people with their emotional, social and behavioural development.Help pupils develop confidence, independence and life skills.Provide individual and group support based on each young person''s needs.Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop appropriate coping strategies.Support pupils who may experience anxiety, emotional dysregulation or challenging behaviour.Take part in activities that promote communication, social skills, confidence and wellbeing.Follow individual support plans and contribute to pupils'' wider development.We Are Looking For Someone Who:Is patient, calm and understanding.Has excellent communication and listening skills.Can remain calm and professional when faced with challenging situations.Understands that every young person is an individual and may need a different approach.Is able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Is committed ..... full job details .....
